Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a holistic system of wellness rooted in India.  It is the science of balanced living and longevity.  In your pursuit if health and well-being, an ayurvedic practitioner is an invaluable resource, teacher, mentor, guide and friend.  The goal of the practitioner is to identify and treat the causal factors of dis-ease and imbalance.  With ayurveda the whole person is treated.  Prevention is a key approach in the ayurvedic system of health.

Ayurvedic Consultations

Initial consultations are 1 1/2 to 2 hours long.  We will discuss your health history and present concerns.  A constitutional analysis will be done with questioning, pulse reading and tongue analysis.  We will determine your prakriti (genetic constitution), vikriti (present imbalances) and develop a personalized dietary & lifestyle treatment plan.  Treatment plans may include herbal support.  An ayurvedic consultation is an educational experience to guide the individual towards better health and freedom. Follow-up consultations are generally 30 minutes long and may include adjusting your original treatment plan, meditation instruction, yoga practice or pranayama (breath) practice.  Follow-ups may also address new concerns.

Initial Consultation- $110
Follow-up Consultations- $40

Private Yoga Instruction

A brief constitutional analysis will be done to determine the appropriate hatha yoga, pranayama &/or meditaiton practice for you.  Your yoga program will be custom tailored to support your needs. A single private yoga class can be done to refine or support an existing practice.  Ongoing private instruction can help to establish a regular yoga practice.  Regularity is essential in all matters concerning health.  A regular yoga practice will benefit you greatly.
